*******************************************************************************************************************************Last month, some boys from St. Mary's entered the Legion of Mary Centenary Art Competition. Pupils were invited to draw or paint a picture that they felt honours Mary, the mother of Jesus. We were delighted to hear last week that there were winners amongst our entrants: overall winner in the 7 - 10 age group, runner-up in the 7 - 10 age group, highly commended in the 7 - 10 age group, runner-up in the 4 - 6 age group and highly commended in the 4 - 6 age group. The winners and runners- up each received book tokens and the school also received a book token for €100. Each entrant also received a gift bag.
What a fantastic result!
